Yes. We accept insurance through Headway and We have some upcoming direct Insurance for eligible plans. To check coverage and schedule, use the “Schedule with Insurance” button on our Book Appointment page. If you prefer self-pay/cash, you can book using “Schedule Without Insurance.”

Yes. We offer secure telehealth appointments so you can meet with your provider from the comfort of home. Visit details and instructions are provided after booking.

Your first visit is a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. We’ll discuss your concerns, symptoms, history, current medications (if any), and goals. You’ll have time to ask questions, and we’ll review treatment options together, which may include medication recommendations and a clear next-steps plan.

Follow-up frequency depends on your needs and treatment plan. Many patients start with a follow-up in 2–4 weeks after the initial visit, then move to monthly or every few months once symptoms are stable. We’ll decide what’s appropriate together.

We provide psychiatric care for common mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, panic symptoms, ADHD, trauma-related symptoms, sleep concerns, and stress-related burnout. If you’re unsure whether we’re the right fit, you can send a message through our contact form and we’ll point you in the right direction.

When appropriate, yes. Medication is never “one-size-fits-all.” If medication could help, we’ll explain options, benefits, and possible side effects so you can make an informed decision. If medication isn’t the best fit, we’ll discuss alternative supports and recommendations.

Yes we do but we also focus on psychiatric evaluation and medication management. However, we strongly support therapy as part of a complete care plan and can recommend therapy options.

At this time, Mercy Psychiatry & Wellness primarily serves adults. If you are seeking care for a child or teen, please contact us and we can try to guide you toward an appropriate referral.

Depending on availability and your location, in-person appointments may be offered. We also provide secure telehealth visits, which many patients find convenient and effective. Booking options are listed on our Book Appointment page.

Initial evaluations are longer because we take time to fully understand what’s going on. Follow-ups are typically shorter and focused on progress, symptoms, and medication response. Exact timing may vary depending on your needs.

Availability changes week to week. The fastest way to see openings is to use the Book Appointment page. If you don’t see a time that works, you can send a message through the contact form to ask about the next available slot but we also accept same day appointments depending on availability.

If possible, have a list of current medications (including supplements), past mental health treatment history, and any recent lab work or relevant medical history. For telehealth visits, you’ll also want a quiet private space and a stable internet connection.

Refills are typically handled during follow-up visits so we can monitor effectiveness and side effects. If you are an established patient and need a refill sooner, use your patient portal (if available) or contact us with enough notice before you run out.

We understand life happens. If you need to reschedule, please do so as early as possible so the time can be offered to another patient. Late cancellations (less than 24 hrs) or missed appointments may be subject to a $25 cancellation fee depending on the booking policy shown at scheduling.

Yes. Your privacy is extremely important to us. We follow strict confidentiality standards, and telehealth sessions are hosted through secure platforms designed for healthcare.
